LabelMaker Pro features a powerful palette system for dynamically recoloring your label design. Images and graphics that extend to the edges of your design should fill this area completely to ensure the best print result. The area outside of this die line is called the bleed, and it acts as a safety area for when the label is trimmed since the label can sometimes shift slightly during the cutting. Your design includes an additional 1/16" inch on each edge of the label which is represented by a dashed cut line, or die line. (Please note that border insetting is only supported for rectangle and ellipse labels) Bleed & Die Line When changing to a new label shape, label borders are automatically converted to follow the new shape. The default label shape is Rectangle, however there are a variety of other shapes available within the Label Size & Shape panel on the right toolbar.
